In the 50's, a private investigator, Harry Angel (Mickey Rourke - Sin City, Year of the Dragon), is hired by Louis Cyphre (Robert DeNiro - Casino, The Godfather Part II) to locate a pop singer who reneged on a debt: Johnny Favourite. But as Angel investigates, all the people he meets on this case mysteriously die soon after having talked to him.
