College students and computer geeks Nic and Jonah, along with Nic's friend Haley, are on a trip through the southwestern United States when they track down a signal from their mysterious hacker rival Nomad. Their search leads them to a remote, lonely area of Nevada. In a dilapidated house in the middle of nowhere, they believe they have found Nomad, but suddenly Haley is kidnapped and Jonah and Nic lose consciousness. When Nic awakens, he is apparently in a research lab isolated from the outside world. He doesn't know what happened to his friends and has to face the unpleasant questions of a mysterious man. What at first seems like a case of mistaken identity quickly turns into a full-blown nightmare for the three friends
