Two young children and an adult in a small town in New Mexico have an encounter with an alien spaceship. 25 years later, the children, one of whom is now the local sheriff, are reunited as adults in the same town and confronted with mysterious events. Strange mutilations on the local farmer's cattle puzzle the lawman. The situation escalates dramatically when the first people also disappear and are found a short time later, horribly mauled. Wayne realizes that alien forces are once again at work, preparing to take over planet Earth.
