Joe`s hard-earned cargo of pelts is seized by a band of "friendly" Kiowas in exchange for a runaway slave they have captured. As the educated, city-bred Joseph, Ossie Davis is as determined to get his freedom as Lancaster is to get his furs back. Enter a band of marauding Scalphunters led by Telly Savalas and accompanied by a cigar-chomping Shelley Winters and all hell breaks loose!
