Nightclub owner Chris Pepper assumes the identity of his rich, recently deceased twin brother in order to save their club from the courts together with his colleague Charlie Salt. However, Pepper soon finds clues to his brother's murderers and, together with Salt, sets off in search of the criminals.
The sequel to Richard Donner's 1968 comedy "Salt and Pepper" was directed by Jerry Lewis, who was able to call on the two leading actors Sammy Davis, Jr. and Peter Lawford as well as screenwriter Michael Pertwee. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee can be seen in cameo appearances in their signature roles from the Hammer films. Produced in 1969, the comedy was first shown in the Federal Republic of Germany on April 30, 1971.
