George Hoellering directs this British adaptation of T.S. Eliot's drama. The film chronicles the days leading up to the murder of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Beckett (John Groser), and explores the temptations that haunt him in the lead up to his death in Canterbury Cathedral in 1170.
