Liverpudlian Roy King and his daredevil comrades Angel, Odie and Pace are masters at cracking bank vaults. After their last, extremely profitable coup, they split up to enjoy the fruits of their 'labor'. On the train journey, King falls for the charms of the charming widow Alicia, who makes off with all the loot. Undaunted, King reactivates his old cronies for one last big coup: Mexican revolutionary Montero offers them a million dollars if they blow up a large arsenal of weapons belonging to the Mexican army. But the job turns out to be a deadly trap, and King realizes that he will encounter Alicia once again.
