On the eve of the 1982 invasion of Lebanon, an Israeli fighter pilot (Stephen Dorff) is shot down over Beirut and captured by the militia. When circumstances throw him together with a 12 year-old orphaned Palestinian refugee, their initial enmity and distrust slowly develops into understanding and the unlikeliest of alliances as they undertake a dangerous journey across hostile Lebanese territory to a place they both call home.
Featuring a superb central performance from Stephen Dorff, this compelling drama from Lemon Tree director Eran Riklis and "The King's Speech" producer Gareth Ellis-Unwin, is a convincing and moving story of survival, reconciliation and friendship in a land torn apart by war.
