After years of training as a master of Kenpo Karate, Jeff Sanders returns to Los Angeles, where he receives a call for help from his mentor Kim. The latter is threatened by members of the Korean mafia. Jeff rushes to help his old friend immediately - but this comes too late. Jeff swears revenge and tries to bring Kim's killer to justice. In doing so he must take the law into his own hands.
In the style of "American Fighter", director and producer Mark DiSalle staged a martial action experience with Kenpo Karate grandmaster Jeff Speakman in his first movie role as a belligerent avenger who sticks to nothing but his own rule of thumb. With his remarkable physical presence and elegant fighting style, Speakman managed to position himself as a serious competitor to the martial arts greats Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal. For the portrayal of Jeff's friend Kim, DiSalle hired Oscar® nominated Japanese actor and dubbing artist Mako Iwamatsu, known as Mako. The role of the tough woman in the group was taken over by the current Golden Globe prize winner Mariska Hargitay.
