Unsuccessful salesman Roy Knable would love to watch TV 24 hours a day. His wife Helen is so annoyed that she is thinking of divorce. One evening, Roy receives a visit from an emissary of the devil, the mysterious TV salesman Spike. Spike gives him an ultra-modern home cinema, including a satellite dish in the garden and a high-tech remote control with 666 channels 'to try out'. To their astonishment, Ray and wife Helen are sucked into the TV. If they don't survive 24 hours of the infernal program, their soul belongs to the devil.
