As this year’s annual Purge begins, Leo, an enigmatic loner haunted by the death of his son, wants revenge. Eva, a single mother, is forced, along with daughter Cali, to leave her apartment when they are attacked. Shane and Liz, a young couple, become victims of a carjacking. Seeking refuge in Leo’s armoured car, Shane and Liz team up with these other three strangers. Now this unlikely group find out just how far they will go to protect themselves, and each other, as they fight to survive the night.
