THE HARDER THEY FALL: Academy Award-Winner Humphery Bogart stars in one of his most memorable performances as Eddie Willis, a sportswriter who joins forces with a corrupt boxing promoter named Benko (Rod Steiger - The Player, In The Heart Of The Night). Together, they scheme to deceive Toro Moreno (Mike Lane), a clumsy, seven-foot giant, and the public into believing Moreno has a shot at the heavyweight title. Through a carefully arranged series of fixed fights, Toro is duped into believing that he is a capable contender, only to have his dreams - and his huge body - shattered when he is brutally between in a genuine fight with the heavyweight champion. Jersey Joe Walcott appears as Moreno's trainer, with former boxing great Max Baer as the heavyweight champ. THE HARDER THEY FALL is an intriguing film in the tradition of Bogart classics. DEAD RECKONING: Academy Award winner Humphrey Bogart is at his best as a hardboiled sleuth in this 40's film noir classic. In one of his most exciting Bogie plays Rip Murdock, an ex-G.I. trying to find out who framed his pal Johnny for murder - and then rubbed him out! Tracing his war buddy's shadowy past leads Rip to Coral Chandler (Lizabeth Scott), who was once Johnny's sweetheart. Now she's a chanteuse in a nightclub run by a brutal gangster, Martinelli (Morris Carnovsky). Rip gets a taste of the beautiful blonde's seductive charms and soon finds himself ensnared in a twisted web of deceit and danger. Is Coral an innocent thrush - or is she a predatory siren leading Bogie to the DEAD RECKONING? SIROCCO: Two of the most powerful actors of their era, Academy Award® Winner Humphrey Bogart (1952, Best Actor in a Leading Role, The African Queen) and Lee J. Cobb, went head to head in Sirocco, an action packed thriller set in war-torn Syria. Bogart stars as gun smuggler Harry Smith, whose daring exploits earn him a ruthless reputation. But when Smith needs safe passage from Damascus, he's forced to turn to his chief rival in love and war, French Colonel Feroud (Cobb). Feroud blackmails Smith for vital military information, but then puts his own life in Smith's hands when he is taken hostage by the Syrian underground. Former Broadway stars Bogart and Cobb brought out the best in each other on film, adding rare excitement to this action packed adventure. Cobb especially benefitted from SIROCCO's popularity; he went on to star in a string of impressive hits, including “On the Waterfront”, “Twelve Angry Men” and “Coogan's Bluff”. An explosive thriller propelled by two powerhouse performers, SIROCCO is classic-adventure! IN A LONELY PLACE: Academy Award-Winner Humphrey Bogart (1952, Best Actor in a Leading Role, The African Queen) stars as Dixon Steele, a screenwriter who is faced with the odious task of scripting a trashy best-seller. He enlists hat-check girl Mildred Atkinson to tell him the story in her own words. Later that night, Mildred is murdered and Steele is a prime suspect; his record of belligerence when angry and his macabre sense of humour implicate him. Fortunately, lovely neighbour Laurel Gray (Gloria Grahame) gives him an alibi. Laurel proves to be just what Steele needed, and their friendship ripens into love. Will suspicion, doubt, and Steele's inner demons come between them?
