Orson Welles writes, directs and presents this British TV series in which he travels around Europe. Throughout the series, the famed film-maker visits some of the continent's most historical locations including Paris, Vienna, Madrid, London and the Basque Country where he meets artists, attends a bullfight and revisits filming locations from his 1949 film 'The Third Man'. The episodes are: 'Pays Basque I', 'Pays Basque II', 'The Third Man Returns to Vienna', 'St.
Germain-des-Prés', 'Chelsea Pensioners' and 'Madrid Bullfight'. The collection also includes the documentary 'The Dominici Affair' (2000) that looks at the last unfinished episode of the series 'The Tragedy of Lurs'.
