24th Day

Adapted from his own play, Tony Piccirillo's film tells the story of Tom (Speedman), a married man who indulges in a one-night-stand with gay filmmaker, Dan (Marsden). Tom acts shy, claiming that he has only slept with one other man, years ago. But soon, he makes it known that Tom was that one man. Unfortunately, 24 days ago, Tom discovered that he has AIDS - which he believes was contracted through his encounter with Tom. Dan swears that he has repeatedly tested negative, but Tom, eager to blame someone, will not relent. This leads to a brutal game of cat-and-mouse that plays out in Tom's small apartment.
